VT Technology is announcing vtUtilities Release Candidate (build 18.104.22.168)
Summary of new features and enhancements
Support of Hyper-V Server 2012 RTM. Note that build 22.214.171.124 Guest Connection Console
does not support Windows 2012 RC (use build 126.96.36.199 to manage Windows 2012 RC).
Fixes for failover replication GUI including support of failover commit for Hyper-V v3 hosts.
Migration and Import Wizards enhancements. Support of in-place registration
and GUI to specify new location for virtual machine configuration and storage.
New functionality for guest jobs list GUI including a possibility to cancel asynchronous
jobs on Hyper-V v3 hosts.
Enhancements for host diagnostic and troubleshooting:
'One-click' access to Hyper-V event logs including remote hosts logs.
vtUtilities run only on 64-bit version of Windows. It is recommended that you download and read
the latest version of the User Guide prior to installing vtUtilities. Download and run vtUtilities bootstrapping executable that will guide you through the
installation process. You will be able to start vtUtilities from a command console by typing ‘vtUtilities’ on the Windows Server core and the Hyper-V Server intstallations after that.
You can remove and/or reinstall vtUtilities by running its bootstrapping utility with the ‘/remove’ command line argument.
